PEMBINAAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI MTS NEGERI 3 BOLSEL
Abstract
Education is a primary factor in shaping human personality, positioning teachers as professional educators with a crucial role in enhancing the quality of learning. Objective: To examine the development of madrasah principals in improving teacher performance and the factors that influence teacher efforts to improve learning at MTs Negeri 3 Bolaang Mongondow Selatan. Method: The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with the madrasah principal, the vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and the school committee. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The study demonstrates that the development of madrasah principals is effectively implemented through motivation, professional development, and teacher assignments tailored to their educational backgrounds and areas of expertise. Conclusion: Planned and ongoing development positively contributes to improving teacher performance and the quality of learning.
