Copyright Notice
The copyright of all articles published in Mosikolah Journal remains with the respective authors. However, the journal/publisher retains the right of first publication. Authors are granted full rights to reuse, republish, archive, and distribute their own articles after publication. The journal/publisher bears no responsibility for subsequent use of the work by third parties. By submitting their work, authors agree to allow the publisher to assign a DOI to their articles and to archive them in academic databases and indexing services such as EBSCO, DOAJ, and ProQuest.
Open Access Policy
Mosikolah Journal follows the Gold Open Access model. This ensures that all articles are freely and immediately accessible to readers via the publisher’s website upon publication. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, or use the content for any other lawful purpose without requesting prior permission from the publisher or the author.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly cited.
Operational costs for the journal are covered through article processing charges (APCs), typically borne by authors, their institutions, or funding bodies.
Submission Policy
By submitting a manuscript, the authors confirm that:
- The submitted work is original and has not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract, academic thesis, or a lecture.
- The manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- All authors have approved the submission and publication of the work.
- The appropriate authorities at the institution where the research was conducted have approved the submission, if applicable.
We accept submissions that have been previously posted on recognized preprint servers (e.g., arXiv, bioRxiv, Nature Precedings, Philica, SSRN, Vixra), presented at academic conferences, or published in non-peer-reviewed platforms (e.g., blogs, posters). Upon publication, authors are responsible for updating any previously posted version with the journal citation (including DOI) and a direct link to the published article.
Mosikolah Journal enforces a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (iThenticate) and further assessed by reviewers. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is unacceptable and will result in immediate rejection or retraction of the article.
We emphasize that self-plagiarism—the reuse of one’s previously published content without proper citation or value addition—is considered a serious academic offense.
Archiving Policy
We adhere to the Sherpa/Romeo green archiving policy, which allows authors to archive both pre-print and post-print versions, including the final publisher’s version (PDF), without restrictions.
Advertising Policy
We do not accept or publish commercial advertisements for revenue purposes. However, we may publish academic announcements or valuable scholarly information free of charge if deemed relevant and beneficial to our readership.
Marketing Policy
All direct marketing activities, including manuscript solicitations conducted on behalf of the journal or publisher, must be targeted, respectful, and professional. Any information provided in these communications must be accurate, transparent, and not misleading to potential authors or readers.
Waiver Policy
To sustain the operations of our open-access platform, a publication fee is charged for each accepted article. The specific fee may vary depending on the journal section; please refer to the official journal website for current rates. In the interest of transparency and fairness, we do not offer fee waivers or discounts, including to editorial board members or special issue contributors.
Refund Policy
Our refund policy is determined based on the current status of the publication process:
- Full Refund: If the online version of the article has not been published.
- Partial Refund (50%): If the online version has been published but the print version is still pending.
- No Refund: If both the online and print versions have been published.
Should an author wish to withdraw a manuscript after acceptance, they must provide:
- A formal withdrawal request.
- A written consent letter from all co-authors.
- Payment of a withdrawal penalty fee amounting to IDR 500,000.
