Pengaruh Self Efficacy Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract

Objectives positive direct effect of self efficacy on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The research was conducted in class IX of Marisa Junior High School in Pohuwato Regency. Involved 80 respondents that were selected using the number of samples from a known population, with an error rate of 5%. The research is a causal survey research with a quantitative approach. The instruments consisted of self efficacy questionnaires and objective tests of mathematics learning outcomes. Conclusion there ia a positive direct effect of self efficacy on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the findings, it is obtained that the correlation coefficient (r) of 0,405 with r Square = 0,164 these results indicated that 16,40% of self efficacy contributed to mathematics learning outcome, and the remaining 83,60% was influenced by other unexamined variables in this study.

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pengaruh langsung positif self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IX SMPN 1 Marisa  Kab. Pohuwato. Responden berjumlah 80 orang ditentukan dengan menggunakan penentu jumlah sampel dari populasi yang diketahui jumlahnya, dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa angket self efficacy dan tes objektif hasil belajar matematika.  Berdasarkan hasil temuan disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh langsung positif self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi (r) diperoleh sebesar 0,405 dengan r Square = 0,164 yang artinya sebesar 16,40% self efficacy memberikan kontribusi kepada hasil belajar matematika dan sisanya sebesar 83,60% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
