Abstract

The purpose of This research is to see How values democracyimplemented in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMPNEGERI 1 TILANGO, even though has implemented, still There is anumber of problem. This research is studies qualitative descriptivemethod that collects data through interviews, observations, anddocumentation. In addition, this technique analysis descriptiveresearch used. Research results show that values democracy canimplemented in approach learning based democracy like discussion,ask answers, assignments, and learning cooperative, and the actions ofa good teacher that instills habit positive in students. Values democracyincluding freedom opinion, tolerance, trust self , freedom group andwork the same. Adequate infrastructure, teacher creativity, and cultureschools that align with values democracy is components that help applyprinciple democracy. However, there are also challenges, especially forstudents, such as difference individuals related to motivation Studythem and their limitations time for Islamic Education lessons.
