Efektivitas Model Ice Breaking Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V di SDN 04 Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo

Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of using the Ice Breaking model on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 04 Tilamuta, Boalemo regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a field study research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that using the Ice Breaking model in the fifth-grade class at SDN 04 Tilamuta, Boalemo Regency, has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This positive impact is evident from the increased enthusiasm, activity, and concentration of students, as well as the creation of a more conducive learning environment. Thus, the use of the Ice Breaking model is effective in enhancing learning motivation and can be relied upon as an alternative method to create more enjoyable and collaborative learning.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas penggunaan model Ice Breaking terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 04 Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Ice Breaking dalam pembelajaran di kelas V SDN 04 Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki dampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dampak positif tersebut terlihat dari peningkatan antusiasme, keaktifan, dan konsentrasi siswa, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih kondusif. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model Ice Breaking efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan dapat diandalkan sebagai metode alternatif untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan dan kolaboratif
