Language politeness is an essential aspect of communication, particularly in the context of primary education. This articleaims to analyze the forms of Indonesian language politenessamong elementary school students through a literature review. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with datacollection techniques based on library research from variousrelevant books and scholarly articles. The findings indicate thatstudents’ language politeness is influenced by familyenvironment, school environment, and social media exposure.Polite language use is reflected in appropriate word choice, intonation, and context in communication. However, instancesof impolite language use are still found due to the lack ofhabituation and reinforcement from the surroundingenvironment. Therefore, the role of teachers and parents iscrucial in instilling language politeness values from an earlyage so that students are able to communicate effectively, respectfully, and in accordance with prevailing social norms.
