ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN BAHASA INDONESIA DALAMINTERAKSI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the use of Indonesian in elementaryschool student interactions and identify factors that influencetheir language skills. Language is the primary means ofcommunication used by humans in everyday life, particularlyin the learning process at school. Students' language skillsencompass four core skills: listening, speaking, reading, andwriting, which are interrelated and support the learning process.This study employed a qualitative approach with descriptivemethods through library research. Data were obtained fromvarious sources, such as books and scientific journals relevantto the research topic. Data collection techniques includedreading, recording, and analyzing information from the sourcesused. The study showed that students' use of Indonesian isinfluenced by their family, school, and communityenvironments. Furthermore, problems such as lack of self-confidence, limited vocabulary, and inappropriate language usewere still identified. Therefore, the role of teachers and theenvironment is needed to improve students' language skills.
