ANALYSIS OF BEGINNING READING DIFFICULTIES THROUGH LETTERS IN THE SUBJECT INDONESIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties of reading the beginning through the mediaof letter cards in Indonesian language learning, research data was obtained by conductingobservations, interviews and documentation, data collection aims to see the difficulties of readingthe beginning. Qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data obtained werethen analyzed with the first stage of data reduction, the second stage of data presentation and thethird stage of data verification. The results of the study show how the difficulties of reading thebeginning. The difficulties experienced by students are difficulties in recognizing letters,difficulties in reading syllables, difficulties in reading words, difficulties in reading simplesentences, and difficulties in reading with clear pronunciation and intonation.
