Rangkul Petani, Kementan Bersama Pemkab Pohuwato Tingkatkan Produksi Padi Melalui Pompanisasi
Abstract
This article discusses the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) together with the Pohuwato Regency Government to increase rice production through the pumping program. This program aims to overcome the impact of a prolonged hot climate on national rice production. Pohuwato, as one of the districts in Gorontalo Province, has the potential to increase the planting index on 246 hectares of land with the help of the pumping program. Activities to launch the 2024 rice planting area expansion movement involve various parties, including local farmers, to maintain and meet food needs in Pohuwato Regency.

Abstrak
Artikel ini membahas upaya Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) bersama Pemerintah Kabupaten Pohuwato dalam meningkatkan produksi padi melalui program pompanisasi. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi dampak iklim panas yang berkepanjangan terhadap produksi padi nasional. Pohuwato, sebagai salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Gorontalo, memiliki potensi peningkatan indeks pertanaman di lahan seluas 246 hektar dengan bantuan program pompanisasi. Kegiatan pencanangan gerakan perluasan areal tanam padi 2024 melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk petani setempat, untuk menjaga dan mencukupi kebutuhan pangan di Kabupaten Pohuwato
