Abstract

Increasing Rice Production Through Pumping, Ministry of Agriculture Collaborates with Pohuwato taluditi In the midst of a prolonged hot climate affecting national rice production, Pohuwato, one of the districts in Gorontalo Province, is a region that is quite resilient in maintaining the stability of its production. Pohuwato's resilience was looked at by the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) to help the central government maintain food availability. Through the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture Number 243 of 2024 concerning the Food Emergency Anticipation Task Force, Pohuwato has the potential to increase the planting index on 246 hectares of land with the stimulus of the pumping program.
