Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Bahasa Indonesia Berwawasan Literasi di Perguruan Tinggi Dalam Menghadapi Era Globalisasi
Abstract
This study aims to determine how the learning of Indonesian language courses with a literacy perspective in universities in facing the era of globalization. Learning Indonesian language courses in universities must always follow the development of the times. Indonesian language courses have a very important role in transferring knowledge, transforming attitudes and helping students develop interests and talents in the learning process. In addition, Indonesian language courses are tools that can encourage students to always be active in facing the era of globalization, which requires students to be able to master technology. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive techniques that aim to describe the learning of Indonesian language courses with a literacy perspective in universities. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning Indonesian language courses in universities in facing the era of globalization must be contextual, meaning that in addition to being oriented towards understanding language and its functions, speaking good and correct Indonesian, students must also be able to master technology and be able to apply it in real life. Indonesian language courses with a literacy perspective require students not only to understand reading, writing and arithmetic but in the era of globalization, students are required to be able to master online-based technological and data literacy. Therefore, the success of the Indonesian language course with a literacy perspective will be seen in the products produced by students, namely in the form of scientific works, journalism or literary works whose contents are related to literacy skills. The Indonesian language course is not only about assigning material but is more emphasized on language skills, namely the aspects of reading, listening, speaking and writing. Therefore, literacy skills in the field of science are skills that must be mastered by students in order to live and survive in the current era of globalization.
